This is a great product to use, very simple and quick read out, we use it all the time.
very worth it September 15, 2009 Dr. Chris S. Beckwith (Illinois, USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
In the past, I always felt like it should be the Nonin Onyx or nothing. I finally convinced myself to try this one at a fraction of the price of the Nonin - and I like it even more. I like the readout that shows amplitude of pulse, and I like the rubber sleeve that it fits in so I can take it on trips without scratching it. When I need more, I am getting this kind.
Easy to use, amazing little device October 22, 2009 Laura Cohan (Marina, CA United States) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this pulse oximeter to monitor my aging mother, who has sleep apnea. We need to make sure that her blood-oxygen level isn't declining.
What could be easier? Clip it on any fingertip, and the reading comes up almost immediately.
This gizmo is so lightweight that I put the enclosed lanyard onto it just to avoid losing the whole thing!
Great styling, efficient design, and so far, we are finding that my mother is doing just fine.
The Finger Pulse Oximeter MD300C13N is a great buy! March 11, 2010 David Saddler (Wilmington, DE) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Finger Pulse Oximeter MD300C13N was a great investment! And it did not cost nearly as much as other models, but performs very well! I use it frequently on a daily basis to monitor blood oxygen levels and it has never failed!
Very good March 5, 2010 Hannah Sperry (Texas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this right before entering the hospital. It stayed pretty much in check with all the RT and CNA oximeter checks. Sometimes the O2 would be 2% higher than the hospital ones. But for being $45 I think its ok to use as a guide. I don't know if it would work in a hospital setting or if you need it precise. This is a good one for your money, and very affordable...especially compared to other brands. Just don't rely on it to be exact, unless you compare against higher rated ones (ie dr office) and it shows to be the same, then you can.
