This is the perfect heart rate monitor for women. It is hard to find an accurate strapless heart rate monitor watch, but this is as good as any, without the expensive price tag. It's easy to take your heart rate even while running. Petite really does mean petite, and is stylish enough to wear every day. Don't buy an overpriced version when this is perfect. Highly recommended!

The Mio Breeze Petite women's heart Rate Monitor Watch is a perfect gift for someone who like gadgets but hates too many buttons. It is simple to operate with no cumbersome wires. My hubby had gotten it for me because I have fainted on several hiking excursions. Now we can monitor my heart rate while on any excursion. I love this watch. Its a perfect balance of function and design (which is very important to me). Its sleek and light weight as well.

My wife has had a couple of other heart rate monitor watches. This MIO petite does all that it should in a size that's really good for a woman. A bit easier to use than prior watches which were not made by MIO. Only downside is the band gets dirty with use (expected), but I've not found anything that removes the dirt well.

It is describled as a "petite" heart monitor. It seems clunky though, for a petite item. The face is clear and bright, but I think my arms are getting too short to see it well in dim light. It certainly is doing the job and makes it easier to monitor my heart rate - ensuring I am in the desired "zone". I have to put mine on backward (on the underside of my arm) to get the monitor to work all the time. It has to do with the amount of moisture in your skin and its contact with the metal surface. I would recommend it.

This watch does exactly what I want, which is to give me an accurate heart rate reading during exercise. It works better than my old watch in a couple of ways. I can take a reading while still moderately active--with my old watch I had to stop completely. It also takes the reading much faster, so my heart rate isn't declining while I wait for the reading.
The strap is nice and flexible for women with small wrists. It doesn't slide around during exercise.
I am also able to read the output without whipping out the reading glasses.
